Galvanized Safety T Bar

Galvanized Safety T Bar Adjustable for Secure Storage and Slab Fall Protection.

The Weha Safety T Bar is designed to add an extra layer of protection against falling slabs that are stored on A frames as well as slab racks.

The T bar will slide under most existing A frames as well as slab racks. Then adjust the T bars up against the base of the slab being stored to prevent the slab from falling back.

Using a leverage system, the T Bar uses the weight of the entire A frame or Slab rack to help prevent the slab from accidentally falling too far and causing damage, breakage, or injury to workers, or at least create a longer fail time to allow workers to move out of the way.

The Safety T Bar work great in showrooms or where Homeowners are picking out their materials, to outside when picking up slabs with a forklift. The Safety T Bar can also work as an additional secure storage of slabs during wind storms, etc.

The most important thing is to create a multi layer safety system to prevent any damage or breakage, and most importantly to prevent injury. The Weha T Bar will add one more layer of safety.

The Base comes in 4 different sections that can be connected (with provided hardware) to accommodate multiple lengths of storage. 2 sections work perfect for a standard 60" A frame and 4 sections are made for a full 10' Slab Storage Rack.

How it works:

  1. Connect however many base sections you need.
  2. Slide it under existing A frames or Slab Racks.
  3. Attach the locking T bar into the base and slide it up against the base of the slab.
  4. Do this on the other side of the A frame or Slab Rack
  5. Adjust your height to be at least 3/4 of the way to the top of the material being stored and lock the T Bar into the holes of the base.

Thats it.

Weha has made this out of hot dipped galvanized steel for many years of use in both indoor and outdoor storage.

The T Bar Uprights comes with White Rubber to prevent scratches or marks on the stone.

Each T Bar Upright comes with a Double Lock Spring Load Pin System for constant pressure in the base.

Why Galvanization is Better than Painted A Frames:

  1. Most economical:Galvanized steel is often the least expensive initial choice. As other labour intensive coatings have risen in rates, galvanizing has maintained a consistent price-point. Moreover, it lasts longer and requires less maintenance, making it the most cost effective, long-term option.

  2. Maintenance-free: - Galvanizing provides maintenance-free corrosion protection, unlike other protective coatings. This mitigates long-term costs, hassles and disruptions to production.

  3. Longest lifespan: - Galvanized coatings on typical structural members have a life expectancy in excess of 100 years.

  4. Most durable: - A galvanized coating has a unique metallurgical structure, providing outstanding resistance to damage during transport, erection and service.

  5. Most reliable performance: - Galvanizing is carried out to ASTM A123 and standard, minimum coating thicknesses are applied. Coating life and performance are reliable and predictable as it's performance is based on the known corrosion rate of zinc. Galvanized steel provides a thick, complete and easily inspected coating.

  6. Most protection: - Galvanizing protects every part of a structure, including recesses, sharp corners and inaccessible areas. Galvanized coatings also provide cathodic or sacrificial protection to small areas of steel that are exposed due to damage. Unlike other coating options, small damaged areas are automatically protected and don't require touch-ups due to zinc's sacrificial nature.

  7. Environmental Sustainability: - Zinc, like steel, is a natural substance that is recyclable
